Payment is due the day of service and future appointments may be postponed if you have an unpaid balance that exceeds $200 or 2 sessions. All clients will get an invoice/superbill for session payments prior to their scheduled session.

I’ve partnered with Alma (helloalma.com) to help me run my private practice.
Through Alma, I take Aetna , Cigna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield (includes BlueCard Network) and Optum (includes UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, and Oxford.) For more information about insurance, click here: Alma Insurances
The Alma team will confirm your insurance eligibility and provide you with an estimate of your payment responsibility. Regarding next steps, I’ll enter your insurance details into their system and they will email you once they’ve confirmed your active coverage and payment responsibility.
You may also choose to not utilize your insurance for therapy services and solely pay out of pocket.
I will be considered an “out of network” provider if you are not a part of the above insurances and you will be responsible to pay for sessions out of pocket.

$130 for a 60-minute session or $175 for a 90- minute session.

Hummingbird Marriage & Family Therapy, PLLC has partnered with Open Path Psychotherapy Collective to serve clients in financial need and seeking affordable therapy.
A limited number of reduced-rate sessions are available for individual, couple, and family sessions. If there are sessions unavailable, I can connect you with another counselor to serve your needs.
No Surprises Act/ Good Faith Estimate:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for items and services to individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services.
Fees will be discussed during your clinical consultation appointment. Prior to your initial intake appointment, you will receive a copy of the Good Faith Estimate and Fee Disclosure for you to sign.
